PTERIGIUM: Pterigium is a degeneration of the conjunctiva and manifests as a fibrovascular membrane in the white part of the eye, which invades the cornea. It causes redness and important discomfort, it can also induce astigmatism and, if it is not operated in time and by the appropriate techniques can leave opacities in the cornea that may seriously affect the vision. Dr. Capote can perform Conjunctival Autograft Technique or others that minimize the risk of recurrence.

TUMORS OF THE OCULAR SURFACE: These, like palpebral tumors, may require surgery or other treatments. Dr. Capote has extensive experience in these lesions and can offer  multidisciplinary treatment and study with specialists in Oncology and Pathology.
